It brings together Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier in the house’s Premier Cru Alexandre cuvée.

Vineyard and winemaking

Nelson’s catalogue identifies Cuvée Alexandre Premier Cru directly, distinguishing it from Soutiran’s Grand Cru wines. The producer’s current cuvée information describes a combination of the three grape varieties and the use of reserve wine. Blend percentages, base harvest, bottling and disgorgement dates can be release-specific, so the figures for the producer’s latest listed disgorgement have not been imposed on unconfirmed stock. The product remains correctly described as non-vintage rather than adopting a base-harvest year as its vintage.

Producer tasting notes

Candied lemon and almond-paste notes, opening into peach and pear.
